Often falsely referring to himself as a journalist, Posobiec gained prominence after spreading disinformation on Twitter during the 2016 Presidential Election cycle. He helped lead the 鈥淪top the Steal鈥� campaign, which cast doubt on the outcomes of the 2016 and 2020 elections He has collaborated with white supremacists, European neofascists, members of the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers. He has repeatedly used his prominence as a public figure to promote Russian military operations. 听听
