NYT Features 蜜桃传媒 Work in Op-Ed Graphic
On Sunday, The New York Times ran a major 鈥渙p-chart鈥� on its op-ed page entitled and detailing the apparent rash of racist noose incidents in the last couple of months. The piece discussed the white backlash that has developed since the huge Sept. 20 anti-racist rally in Jena, La., and included a map describing noose incidents across the eastern half of the United States.
The text of the op-chart was written by Mark Potok, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center鈥檚 Intelligence Project (which produces this blog). The research on noose incidents was the work of a team led by Luke Visconti and Barbara Frankel at DiversityInc., a magazine about diversity and business. The graphic illustration was done by Nigel Holmes.
