ATLANTA 鈥撎�T辞诲补测,听迟丑别听U.S. District Court听for the Northern District of Georgia听denied听a听request for emergency relief听that would听require the Cobb County School District to听follow guidelines by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reduce COVID-19听transmission听in K-12 schools.听听
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of听Cobb County students with disabilities听who are at risk of severe illness and even death听if they contract COVID-19.听Plaintiffs are four students with disabilities who requested reasonable听accommodations听so听they can听access听all of听the benefits of an in-person education like their nondisabled peers,听as 迟丑别听law requires.听听
